I’ve just started my blog at the tender age of 55 and if I can do it, anyone can.
A blog is a great place to start your online “real estate” and I am using that term because we are in a digital age and an ever-increasing digital economy.
So it makes sense to talk about digital assets.
In my opinion, everyone should think of themselves as a “company in their own right” and a great way to showcase that company is to start a personal blog.
I believe that the greatest investment you can make is in yourself — think of yourself as an enterprise and invest in the Enterprise of You and a personal blog is the “gateway” to that enterprise.
Not only can you tell the world all about you, but you can talk about your passions, interests and you may also be able to make a living out of the whole process.
Some bloggers have literally made millions, others a full or part-time income and for you, it can be whatever you choose it to be as long as you are prepared to put the work in.
I use my blog to share my entrepreneurial and life journey to help and inspire other entrepreneurs because when I started my first company at 19, there was little available in terms of resources and now, not only can I read other blogs and websites to learn and gain information, I can also connect with people instantly.
My friend and the guy who inspired me to start my blog, Fernando Raymond, is so passionate about blogging that he wants to get 100 million people to do it and especially in third-world countries!
He has also inspired my three children to make daily videos on YouTube to build their online presence and brands.
Starting a blog is an extremely simple, effective and efficient way of getting online and building your own personal brand and value so begin the process!
